I advise and even insist that every new member take a little time to customize his/her links directory and category pages after his site is approved.
New sites are added with a default simple template which must be changed.
The best thing to do would be embed it into the main design of your site.
Look at these examples:
http://www.jointsprotection.com/links-exchange/
http://www.healways.com/other/other.html

How to do it?
Log into your account, click Edit sites, choose your site and click Edit.
Then click Main Links Directory Format to customize your main directory.
In settings level choose Advanced Settings,
in the Main Links Directory Template: choose Add your own template.

Then open in your browser any page of your main site, click View->source. This will open the pad with your html source code inside. Copy this code into the Add HTML Template field and place {CONTENT} wildcard inside the code in the place where you want the category links to appear.

Then choose the Number of columns and Number of Category links in each column click submit.

Open your main links directory and see the results, if not satisfied correct your template by changing the place of the {CONTENT} wildcard.

To customize the look of each category link page open Category Links Page Format and do the same.

It's a good idea to have the template pages look like our own sites.

Although I have a problem with the character limits when inputing my code for Wordpress blogs.

Wordpress has a ton of code compared to static html pages (average 5000 characters). For a standard WP blog, on average the count is around 15,000 characters. Add in some adsense and affiliate banners, the count rises well over the 20,000 character limit.

I have a few blogs I was not able to add due to this limitation.

Is there a way to raise the character limit for the fields?

Or possibly add two fields, one for header and one for footer?
